Pre-launch notice. GetNerdo is in public beta, operated by LumaByte as an online service within the European Union. Everything here describes the service as it is built today.
1.Our approach
We keep cookies and similar technologies to the minimum needed to run GetNerdo. Today we use only strictly necessary storage. We do not run advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites. This notice explains what we use now, and what would change if we ever introduce optional analytics.
2.What cookies are
“Cookies” are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser. They can be essential (the site cannot work without them) or optional (for analytics, personalisation or advertising). We currently use only essential ones.
3.What we use today (essential only)

Because these are strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, they do not require consent under the GDPR/ePrivacy rules.
4.What we do not use
- no advertising or marketing cookies;
- no cross-site or cross-device tracking;
- we never sell your data or hand it to advertising networks.
5.If we add optional analytics
We may later add privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the product is used. If and when we do:
- we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, and analytics will stay off until you agree;
- you will be able to accept, reject, or change your choice at any time;
- we will list each analytics cookie — its provider, purpose and lifetime — in this notice before it goes live;
- rejecting optional cookies will never block access to the core service.
6.Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and delete local storage for this site at any time. Blocking essential cookies may sign you out or stop parts of the service from working. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal; if optional analytics are ever added, we will honour a clear opt-out.
7.Changes & contact
